The D-Day Landings 100wc by George M

                            The D-Day Landings

As the bright moon rose above France. It illuminated all the beaches were we were going to land. When the engine started me and my friend where in action for the first time ever but we were aware it could be our last night on earth. So we were going to make the most of it. When the pilot got us up into the cold night sky. The hatch opened it looked like the gateway to victory. Our time had come. It was good that are parachutes were black otherwise they would have spotted us. When we hit the ground we were running on the golden sand.
